Christmas presents...

The last of the boxes were mailed out this weekend. Love, Love LOVE having my own fed ex account. Just print my lables up at home and drop them off at my local fed ex store. No lines, no waiting.
YAY!

So, what are you giving this christmas? did you take the pledge too?

I Took The Handmade Pledge! BuyHandmade.org

You can take it at http://www.etsy.com/ and get your own badge as well.

One thing we are giving this year is Gourmet Texas Pasta (http://www.gourmettexaspasta.com/) We met these great people a while back at Gruene Market days, here in Texas. http://gruenemarketdays.com/ which is a great place to find lots of handmade things.

My boys love the Spinach basil garlic. my current fav. is the Szechuan Orange spice. SO YUMMY!!

We are giving lots of people the crates, which are too cute. If you ever happen to be in Texas make it to one of their many events and give the pasta a try.

Good news is that we finished painting Alec's room last night, YIPPIE!!!

Bad news is that I went to the dr. yesterday and I have a sinus infection, ear infection & strep throat. Yesterday I finished painting with a 101 degree fever. I am crazy, I know. There is still so much to do before christmas. Some times I feel like it will never get done.

The house is finally decorated, We got our tree last weekend. (I'll post pics later). Last Saturday We took our cubscout den, along with some other kids from the pack to our local assisted living facility. The boys sang carols, and visited with the residents. Everyone had a great time. Cole espically, did not want to leave. Those people have had amazing lives, and fantastic stories. We go every year, the residents love seeing the boys dressed up in their uniforms. The men, espically get nostalgic. One man was telling my dh & I that he was at the first Jamboree sooooo many years ago. The ladies all talk about how they were the den mothers to their boys too.

Well, gotta get started putting bedroom furniture together.

Happy Holidays & Merry Christmas!
